Job SummaryEcora Consultants Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Technician with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing team in British Columbia. The successful candidate will support a range of environmental projects, including field assessments, monitoring programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across the province while contributing to sustainable environmental solutions.
Responsibilities- Conduct fieldwork including environmental sampling (soil, water, air) and site inspections
- Assist with environmental monitoring programs and data collection
- Prepare technical reports, field summaries, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Support environmental assessments such as Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies as required
- Maintain field equipment and ensure proper calibration and usage
- Adhere to health and safety protocols during all field and office activities
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations in British Columbia
- Experience with environmental sampling techniques and monitoring programs
- Proficiency in technical report writing and data analysis
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites across BC - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
