The Assistant Engineer 4th Class plays a key role in daily inspections and preventive maintenance of essential hospital equipment, including heating and air conditioning systems. You will respond to mechanical breakdowns and perform repairs that comply with health and safety codes, making a significant impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems
• Address equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently
• Execute maintenance and electrical repairs as needed
• Carry out preventative actions on boilers and A/C units
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Requirements:
• Certificate as a 4th Class Power Engineer recognized by B.C.
• Two years of recent related experience
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to fulfill job duties
