CIMA+ seeks an experienced Civil Substation Lead Engineer to spearhead civil design work for voltage designs up to 735 kV.
Your role will involve managing engineering tasks, mentoring team members, and ensuring project success. You will contribute to the evolving landscape of T&D power systems in Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design of substation civil engineering projects
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams and design tasks
• Mentor junior engineers and provide direct supervision
• Perform structural design including seismic analysis
• Prepare technical reports and review site drawings
Requirements:
• 12+ years in substation civil/structural design
• University degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Registered member of a Canadian engineering association
• Experience with design programs like Civil 3D
• Strong communication skills in English
