The Planner II collaborates on various aspects of new designs to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. With 2-4 years in relevant fields, you'll conduct studies, oversee process developments, and guide junior engineers while fostering professional growth. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills will aid in tackling complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan hull arrangements and module load-out strategies
• Conduct lean design development and standards training
• Monitor and implement changes in production processes
• Transfer new materials and processes to the shipbuilding team
• Mentor engineers for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Certification in Engineering
• 2-4 years of planning or ship design experience
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD tools
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
