Senior Electrical Engineer

Lead complex electrical projects as a Senior Electrical Engineer with our Vancouver team. Bring your expertise to design and maintain electrical systems for global industry leaders.

This role at Randstad Canada is tailored for experienced professionals ready to apply their electrical engineering skills. With a focus on calculations, National Electrical Code requirements, and power distribution, you will support exciting projects at industrial and commercial facilities. Mentoring junior engineers and conducting QA/QC reviews will be part of your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform calculations for electrical equipment sizing and installation

• Utilize National Electrical Code and IEEE standards

• Develop specifications for electrical distribution equipment

• Design power distribution and grounding systems up to 15kV

• Present project findings to clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. or eligibility within 1 year

• Over 5 years of experience in electrical design

• Proficiency in CAD development principles

• Strong communication skills with clients and teams

• Ability to mentor junior engineers
