Position: Project Engineer for Substation Projects
Elevate your career as a Project Engineer - Substation with Qualus, either in Calgary, AB or Vancouver, BC on a hybrid model. Join our team to lead high-voltage substation projects from concept to construction.

As a Project Engineer, you will orchestrate engineering coordination on 12 kV to 500 kV transmission and substation projects. This role requires interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and managing project costs while ensuring compliance with safety practices and regulations. Your work will support project managers, deliver critical documentation, and satisfy client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering coordination for high-voltage projects

• Support project managers and maintain schedules

• Prepare construction specifications and project scope documents

• Review designs with the Owner’s Engineer

• Coordinate procurement and construction activities

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering Degree with P.Eng. designation

• 8-15 years of substation electrical experience

• Knowledge of CSA, NESC, and ANSI/IEEE standards

• Excellent communication skills

• Field experience with outage planning is an asset
