Position: Mechanical Engineering Technologist Full-Time Role
Join TRIUMF in Vancouver as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist and play a key role in the innovation of mechanical systems. This position is perfect for those experienced in HVAC and nuclear ventilation.
With a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology and at least seven years of practical experience, you will design, commission, and maintain vital mechanical systems. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to fulfill regulatory demands and enhance the functionality of our unique research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems

• Design mechanical infrastructure for HVAC and nuclear systems

• Keep construction logs and warranty documentation updated

• Establish preventative programs for regulatory compliance

• Develop strategies for direct digital control systems
Requirements:

• Required diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology

• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience

• CAD experience in Solid Works and Draft Sight

• Proven ability in maintaining HVAC and hydronic systems

• Familiarity with nuclear systems is a plus
