Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Role
Be part of a growing Vancouver-based industrial products company as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Focus on product development and lead projects from initial design through to commercialization.
Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer with in-depth experience in product design and manufacturing. You'll engage in designing innovative products from plastics, die-cutting, and metals while working closely with multiple departments to support successful product launches. Your expertise will significantly impact production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new products for diverse manufacturing processes

• Revise designs and offer cost-effective solutions

• Establish quality control measures and procedures

• Program CNC router to produce parts efficiently

• Collaborate across teams including Sales and Quality Control
Requirements:

• Relevant education in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design

• At least 8 years of hands-on design experience

• Proficiency in manufacturing modelling and tools

• Strong understanding of product design cost factors
