Engage in impactful structural engineering projects with WSP as an Intermediate Structural Engineer. Your designs will contribute to vital mining and industrial facilities across Canada.
As a member of the Process and Mine Infrastructure Design (PMID) Group, you will focus on designing safe, efficient structural systems. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive structural layouts, calculations, and analyses while championing effective collaboration with various engineering teams.
This role offers diverse experiences from conceptual phases to construction oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design structural systems for mining and industrial uses
• Generate structural layouts, calculations, and cost estimates
• Guide structural design processes with technical input
• Conduct site visits for project assessments and data gathering
• Assist in creating technical reports and client presentations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 4+ years designing steel and concrete structures
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status or eligibility
• Familiarity with Canadian engineering standards
• Willingness to travel for on-site projects
