Advance your engineering career with Wood as an Intermediate Process Engineer in Vancouver or Burlington. Engage in process engineering and design activities for minerals and metals projects.
Reporting to the Process Department Manager, you will take on the critical task of ensuring intricate process designs and engineering solutions align with client specifications. This position favors professionals with over five years of experience, particularly in industrial settings, and a strong customer service orientation in communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop process plant designs, including PFDs and P&IDs
• Analyze and interpret test work for designs
• Participate in reviews to manage safety and design efficiency
• Provide test work supervision and on-site support
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for projects
Requirements:
• Degree in Mineral Processing or related engineering field
• 5+ years in mineral processing with 2 years in industrial plants
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to register as a Professional Engineer in BC
• Commitment to client satisfaction and teamwork
