Sedgman is seeking a skilled Process Engineer in Vancouver, BC to enhance mining project effectiveness. Utilize your engineering design skills to make a significant impact.
As a Process Engineer, you will provide vital support during various engineering phases and work on improving the effective use of operational systems.
Your role will include troubleshooting process issues, developing flow sheets, and creating critical design documents. Stay ahead of industry advancements to recommend new technologies for implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer support through project engineering phases including FS and conceptual design
• Improve operations systems utilizing industry best practices
• Troubleshoot and rectify process challenges
• Prepare key engineering documents such as PFDs and heat balances
• Coordinate efforts across departments for operational safety
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mineral Processing or related fields
• 5 – 10 years of process engineering design experience
• Required OIQ designation or in the process of obtaining it
• Solid background in engineering or consulting work
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
