The Senior Project Marine Engineer is key to advancing Seaspan's engineering initiatives. This role involves planning and executing a range of engineering projects focused on retrofit upgrades and compliance research, while managing interactions with manufacturers and stakeholders. Your work not only enhances fleet performance but also ensures adherence to evolving industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on engine and hydrodynamic enhancements
• Manage visibility and updates of Asset Development plans
• Implement digital twins for machinery across fleets
• Provide support in day-to-day project management
• Liaise with teams on regulatory compliance solutions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Marine Engineering or higher
• At least 5 years at sea in marine engineering
• Minimum 3 years managing projects on shore
• Skilled in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite
• Flexibility for international travel and vessel inspections
