- Collaborate and deliver water resources, infrastructure, transportation, and environmental projects across BC.
- Work on projects encompassing a variety of water resources sub-specialties including watershed management, hydrology, hydrotechnical engineering, river engineering, floodplain modelling and mapping, drainage engineering, and coastal/shoreline engineering.
- Deliver innovative solutions to complex projects and be challenged to develop high‑quality products for our valued clients in many sectors, such as municipal, regional, provincial and federal governments, transportation, and natural resources.
- Act as a project leader, providing leadership on proposals and projects.
- Mentor junior Water Resources Engineers in Training and Technologists.
- Be involved in a variety of project phases including planning, design, tendering, and construction.
- Site visits to assess project sites, carry out construction field reviews, and/or complete emergency flood response services.
- Hydrological analysis and watershed modelling.
- Assessment of climate change impacts to support planning and design of infrastructure.
- Hydraulic analysis and modelling of creeks/rivers/channels, culverts, bridges, and water management structures.
- Floodplain modelling and mapping.
- Hydraulic analysis and modelling of drainage and stormwater systems.
- Statistical analysis of hydrometeorological datasets.
- Mapping and spatial analysis of GIS data.
- Hydrotechnical design of water management infrastructure and flood protection systems such as dikes, bank erosion/scour protection, shoreline erosion protection, inlet/outlet structures, spillway channels, culverts, bridges, weirs, sediment basins, and wetlands.
- Technical writing and preparation of client deliverables.
- Project coordination and management.
- Proposal preparation.
- Meeting project requirements in a timely and effective manner.

- Undergraduate degree in engineering or applied sciences from an accredited post‑secondary institution. A graduate degree and/or a water resources focus in your educational background will be considered an asset.
- Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with EGBC.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Experience in coastal/shoreline engineering is considered an asset.
- Experience analyzing and designing a variety of solutions for water resources projects.
- Experience using water resources software such as HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑SSP, R, MIKE+, SWAN, Raven, and PCSWMM.
- Experience in GIS and spatial analysis software such as QGIS, Manifold, or ArcGIS.
- Ability to work in both collaborative team environments and independently.
- Highly self‑motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
