Take charge of hazardous materials projects as an Intermediate Technician. Conduct assessments, collect samples, and ensure compliance with safety standards across multiple work environments.
This role is centered on independent evaluations of hazardous materials in various buildings. Utilizing your 3-7 years of field experience, you will work alongside project managers and contribute to the development of safety protocols and environmental reports. Your strong organizational skills will be key in managing diverse field tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct surveys and assessments of hazardous materials
• Collect and analyze samples of hazardous substances
• Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation
• Conduct site assessments and air monitoring during projects
• Support site coordination and scheduling for field tasks
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in environmental sciences required
• 3–7 years of experience in related fieldwork
• Valid WorkSafeBC Level S Asbestos Certificate
• Training in hazardous materials regulations essential
• Commitment to safety and quality in all operations
Utilize your skills and experience to navigate hazardous materials assessments and remediation for optimal safety and quality.
