We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to be based in our Vancouver office, but other remote locations can be considered for the appropriate candidate (Nelson, Saskatoon, Quebec City).

Specific activities can include: interpretation of field data and development of conceptual models, often coordinating with geochemists, structural geologists and geotechnical engineers; development of inputs to water and load balance models; estimates of pit or underground inflows; remedial options analysis; contributing to engineering designs; and, interpreting data on constructed remediation systems.

The successful candidate will interact closely with hydrogeology and other discipline team members from junior to principal levels and will have a role in managing tasks and junior staff to achieve project goals and timelines, prepare reports and presentations for internal or external audiences. There will be many opportunities to work with experts in a variety of fields to learn and grow their consulting career.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience, preferably in one or more of the disciplines listed above. Mining industry experience is a benefit (operational, exploration, or assessment).

  • Professional registration or eligibility to obtain it.
