Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Lead the deep foundations practice as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with WSP in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on technical growth, geotechnical studies, and project management.

WSP seeks an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer with a focus on deep foundations. You will lead and develop strategies for projects while guiding multidisciplinary teams from inception to completion. Your expertise is key in evaluating complex geotechnical conditions and executing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop deep foundation strategies collaboratively

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through project life cycles

• Prepare geotechnical studies and engineering reports

• Oversee investigations and contractor evaluations

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering

• P.Eng. registration with EGBC or eligibility

• 15+ years in geotechnical engineering, 5+ in deep foundations

• Proficient in geotechnical software like Ensoft and Geo Studio

• Proven track record of on-time, budget-conscious project delivery
