Leveraging your extensive industry experience, advanced technical expertise, and strong ability to anticipate project needs, you will guide the production of high‑quality drawings, models, and technical solutions.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and construction teams, while also providing mentorship and technical leadership within the Methods & Temporary Works group. The ideal candidate is highly proficient with modern 2D/3D CAD/BIM tools, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and thrives in a rapid‑paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of advanced methods and temporary works technical drawings and 2D/3D models using CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Collaborate proactively with engineers, field teams, and project stakeholders to ensure that designs meet all technical, safety, and project requirements.
  • Drive the planning and optimization of site logistics, installation methodologies, work sequencing, equipment layouts, and construction operations.
  • Review, analyze, and update drawings with minimal engineering feedback, supervision, constructability input, or field modifications—ensuring full accuracy and traceability.
  • Maintain organized, compliant records of all design files, models, and documentation in alignment with departmental and project quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to technicians within the M&TW; team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Design Quality Management Plan and proactively identify, document, and communicate non‑compliance issues.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives by integrating new technologies, tools, and methods that enhance design efficiency and constructability.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in CAD, BIM, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience as a technician in the construction industry, ideally with direct exposure to methods and temporary works.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD/BIM tools, with strong experience in 2D/3D modeling and visualization.
  • Proven accuracy, precision, and ability to produce high‑quality technical drawings adapted to real construction challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in visualizing and modeling construction methods, temporary works, or complex construction operations.
  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, technical curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning and new technologies.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders across design and construction teams.
Benefits
  • RRSP with up to 5% employer matching
  • Hybrid work model for corporate roles
  • Employee stock ownership program
