This Senior Technical Director role focuses on leading technical efforts in mine waste management. You'll inspire engineering advancement that ensures safe and environmentally responsible mining operations. Your leadership will also involve developing meaningful relationships with clients while nurturing upcoming engineering talent to contribute significantly to the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define technical vision for waste management engineering
• Innovate in design, operations, and closure strategies
• Nurture and mentor emerging technical leaders
• Build partnerships with industry leaders in mining
• Contribute to practice guidance and technical literature
Requirements:
• 15+ years of mine waste management expertise
• Familiarity with Canadian geological conditions
• Professional engineering designation (P.Eng. preferable)
• Ambition for mentorship and innovation in the field
• Established network within the mining community
