  • Evaluate electrochemical performance, including charge–discharge cycling, impedance, and polarization behaviour
  • Develop and optimize electrolyte formulations and cell configurations
  • Integrate Fibernx carbon fibers, nanofibers, and composite structures into cell architectures
  • Analyze data, prepare internal technical reports, and present findings to the R&D team and collaborators
  • Support scale-up activities, safety documentation, and laboratory process development
  • Collaborate with academic and industrial partners involved in energy storage work
Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD in Electrochemistry, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with redox flow battery systems is a must.
  • Strong background in cell assembly, membrane and electrode evaluation, and electrolyte chemistry.
  • Proficiency with electrochemical techniques such as CV, EIS, and GCD, as well as failure analysis and performance optimization
  • Experience in conducting Research and Development (R&D) for innovative materials or energy solutions
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Experience with carbon materials is an asset
  • Knowledge of energy storage industry trends and applications is an asset
