As a telecommunications professional at WSP, you will be pivotal in modernizing energy systems through telecommunications networks and digital resilience. This role requires a minimum of five years' experience in telecommunications engineering, particularly in the energy sector. Your contributions will support grid digitalization, enhance cybersecurity readiness, and ensure operational resilience in power generation and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver telecommunications and networking engineering support
• Contribute to grid modernization and digital transformation
• Design, implement, and test networked infrastructure
• Assess cybersecurity risks for critical assets
• Review technical designs from vendors and partners
Requirements:
• Degree in telecommunications, networking, or related field
• Minimum five years in industrial telecommunications
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 digital substations
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset
