WSP is looking for experienced electrical engineers to support its Resources subsector in Vancouver. This role involves leading both new construction and brownfield projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations for clients. With a focus on power systems, your work will have a direct impact on the industrial sectors across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical power distribution and control systems
• Conduct power system studies with ETAP or Easy Power
• Prepare specifications for switch gear and transformers
• Oversee engineering calculations and design accuracy
• Mentor junior staff and develop engineering talent
Requirements:
• 5+ years of electrical engineering design experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC
• Proficiency in CSA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Experience with industrial power systems and facilities
• Collaborative mindset within multidiscipline teams
