Position: BIM Coordinator with Mass Timber Focus
Impact mass timber projects as a BIM Coordinator at Mercer in Vancouver. This hybrid role emphasizes technical capacity and effective collaboration across teams.

As an integral part of the Mercer Mass Timber project execution team, you will report to the BIM Team Lead and engage with professionals from Engineering, Fabrication Design, and Project Management.

Your role will encompass preparing BIM models, supporting the drafters, and fostering a collaborative environment. With at least five years of BIM experience, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and review shop drawings and BIM models

• Manage a team of Mass Timber Drafters effectively

• Enhance drafting procedures and resources

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders

• Assess and coordinate project BIM requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Architectural Technology or CAD Technology

• 5+ years as a BIM Coordinator or Lead Drafter

• Expertise in Revit and BIM
360 required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with DfMA and CAD/CAM fabrication
