Hatch is seeking a Civil Engineering Student to join our Infrastructure, Rail team based in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will work on major railway projects in Western Canada.

• Produce all levels of drawings from concept to detailed design
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary design teams to develop functional designs in accordance with regulations, laws, and design standards
• Maintain high-quality standards through quality control processes

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma at an accredited University or College.
• Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Problem solving skills and analytical.

• Proficiency in Civil 3D is considered an asset.
• Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Shows critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges.

Candidates are expected to work from Hatch’s downtown Vancouver office full time for the duration of the work term. This position is available for a 4-month or 8-month work term starting September 2026.

Range: $26.00 - $34.00
