In this Grade 9 position, you will assist the Western Region Manager in permitting processes and environmental monitoring. By ensuring adherence to environmental policies, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to uphold CN's commitment to sustainability. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in environmental assessments and evaluations

• Ensure compliance with project commitments and conditions

• Monitor contractor compliance with environmental regulations

• Build relationships with CN departments and regulatory agents

• Manage post-construction monitoring and reporting
Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant environmental compliance experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field

• Familiarity with fisheries and tidal environments

• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders

• Experience with project management practices
