In this role, you will leverage 2 to 10 years of forensic engineering experience to investigate the causes of losses. Collaborate with internal and external adjusters, meet policyholders, and examine loss sites for evidence of fires or explosions. Your work will help reconstruct events and support findings based on scientific principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct investigations into loss sites and identify causes
• Document findings and assemble comprehensive reports
• Work closely with adjusters and building appraisers
• Participate in joint analyses of specimens
• Maintain storage and records for investigation materials
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences
• 2-10 years of forensic engineering experience
• Eligibility for provincial Engineering Association licensure
• Deep understanding of fire propagation and building methods
• Ability to obtain necessary certifications promptly
