Qualus seeks a Senior Consultant to perform critical interconnection feasibility studies for current generation, storage, demand, and transmission projects. The role requires expertise in optimizing project sizes and locations, alongside preparing interconnection applications. You will collaborate with transmission operators throughout the interconnection study process and conduct general power system studies that drive impactful solutions.

• Conduct interconnection feasibility studies for diverse energy projects
• Optimize generation and transmission project size and location
• Develop and prepare interconnection study models and applications
• Guide the interconnection application process with operators
• Perform power system analysis and studies

• BS in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems
• 5 years grid planning experience, 3 in North America
• 2 years consulting experience preferred
• Knowledge of PSSE or PSLF tools is essential
• Familiarity with EMT modeling using PSCAD preferred
