At WSP, you will play a vital role in multi-disciplinary design efforts, overseeing projects from concept through to IFC deliverables. Your responsibilities include directing geotechnical investigations, reviewing tunnel alignments, and applying advanced rock mechanics methodologies to complex geological challenges. Collaborating with diverse teams, you ensure project success by aligning scope, budgets, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design efforts for tunneling and stabilization projects
• Review geotechnical investigations and tunnel assessments
• Optimize engineering solutions and risk mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with project managers to meet technical needs
• Provide mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers
Requirements:
• 10+ years in rock mechanics or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Master's preferred
• Proven experience in large-scale tunneling projects
• Proficient in geotechnical software and analysis
• Active license with Engineers & Geoscientists BC
