Position: Project Manager I for Water Infrastructure
Drive significant infrastructure projects in Vancouver as a Project Manager I. This vital role focuses on the execution and management of the City’s water meter programs and other key initiatives.

As a key player in the Engineering Services department, you will manage comprehensive projects that directly impact the City of Vancouver's waterworks. The position requires strong project oversight from initial planning through to successful implementation, recruiting and guiding both interns and external contractors. By fostering team productivity, you’ll help meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage implementation of Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI)

• Guide project teams through all project phases

• Maintain project documentation and compliance with OQM

• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and contractors

• Conduct regular field inspections and status updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline with 5 years of experience

• Expertise in project management methodologies

• Leadership experience in team settings

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• PMP certification is advantageous
