WSP is seeking an Environmental Field Technician in Ontario to manage site safety and oversee remediation work. Contribute your expertise and travel for vital field tasks.
Help WSP’s RPM team maintain its high standards by conducting environmental fieldwork and supervising contractors across the province. This full-time position requires a reliable, independent professional capable of leading health and safety initiatives on diverse projects. Your solid background in environmental sciences and contractor oversight are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement health and safety plans
• Identify and document site hazards and incidents
• Carry out soil and groundwater sampling tasks
• Manage subcontractors for site operations
• Organize project files and field documentation
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of supervising remediation contractors
• Environmental sciences diploma required
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
• Excellent detail orientation and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and travel flexibility
