As a Planner II, your focus will be on enhancing efficiency and minimizing waste through diligent analysis. Working collaboratively on various design aspects, you will conduct studies and oversee junior engineers' growth. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills are essential for addressing the complexities of shipbuilding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and plan hull arrangements while strategizing module load-out
• Lead lean design development and train staff on standards
• Oversee and implement changes in production processes
• Transfer innovative materials and processes to the shipbuilding crew
• Mentor engineers to promote continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Certification in Engineering
• 2-4 years of planning or experience in ship design
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Proficient in CAD tools and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
