Climate X is excited to welcome Science Interns for a 12-week paid program beginning in July. This opportunity allows interns to engage in significant projects that leverage quantitative skills to address climate challenges. You'll work on various themes, including asset AI characterization and climate impacts, enhancing your practical experience in a product-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop machine learning prototypes for asset analysis
• Quantify impacts of climate scenarios on ecosystems
• Analyze water risk under various climate models
• Present insightful findings to senior scientists
• Participate in cross-functional team projects
Requirements:
• Current graduate student or recent graduate in math or science
• Proficient in coding with Python and data manipulation
• Familiarity with geospatial platforms and tools
• Strong interest in climate hazards and risk management
• Communicative and detail-oriented
