Qualus is seeking a knowledgeable Senior Consultant for the Resource Integration Advisory group. This position is critical for optimizing project sizes and locations, as well as collaborating with transmission operators. You will conduct feasibility studies and prepare interconnection applications, utilizing your expertise in power system analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interconnection feasibility studies for diverse energy projects
• Optimize generation and transmission project size and location
• Develop and prepare interconnection study models and applications
• Guide the interconnection application process with operators
• Perform power system analysis and studies
Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Systems
• 5 years grid planning experience, 3 in North America
• 2 years consulting experience preferred
• Knowledge of PSSE or PSLF tools is essential
• Familiarity with EMT modeling using PSCAD preferred
