In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of photonic devices optimized for cryogenic temperatures. Your background in cryogenics and photonics will enable you to design scalable architectures and innovative optical interconnects for quantum systems. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, your contributions will advance the practical application of quantum computing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee design and optimization of cryogenic photonic subsystems
• Develop low-loss optical coupling and integration strategies
• Design RF-aware packaging architectures for signal integrity
• Analyze thermal and mechanical performance in cryogenic environments
• Validate photonic systems through experimental characterization
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Physics or Electrical Engineering
• Strong background in cryogenics and photonics
• Experience with photonic integrated circuits and optoelectronic systems
• Proficiency in modeling tools like COMSOL or Lumerical
• Proven leadership in complex lab-based projects
