Electrical Engineer, Power Generation Projects

Shape Canada's power landscape as a Senior Electrical Engineer at WSP, focusing on Power Generation projects. This role is based in any of WSP's Canadian offices, with a preference for BC and AB.

As part of WSP’s dedicated team, you will lead and deliver electrical engineering solutions for significant power generation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include engaging stakeholders, mentoring less experienced engineers, and ensuring project compliance with industry standards. You will also develop and manage scopes, schedules, and deliverables crucial to our clients' missions in an evolving energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop designs and lead electrical engineering for projects

• Clarify client needs and define project scope

• Coordinate cost control and procurement activities

• Create detailed feasibility studies and technical documentation

• Review engineering documents to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Valid P.Eng registration

• Over 10 years of electrical engineering experience

• Experience in Power Generation projects

• Leadership experience in complex project execution
