This role demands a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree alongside five years of project management experience. You will oversee habitat enhancement initiatives, led by your technical expertise while engaging stakeholders and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Collaborate closely with specialists and First Nations to drive the projects forward while meeting rigorous deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead habitat offsetting efforts through design and implementation
• Liaise with project teams and provide expert advice
• Prepare status updates and presentations for stakeholders
• Represent VFPA at regulatory and community meetings
• Obtain permits and land tenure agreements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field
• Minimum five years in project management for large infrastructure
• Experience in habitat offsetting and federal regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• PMP certification preferred
