This role at Arcadis requires an experienced Technical Director capable of overseeing traction power and electrical systems in rail transit. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of power supply, managing client expectations, and enforcing standards in engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee traction power system design with a focus on innovation
• Manage utility interfaces and coordination for projects
• Ensure all designs comply with necessary regulations
• Guide teams through project feasibility and execution
• Direct backup power system deployment for transit operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta or BC preferred
• Minimum 15 years in traction power electrical systems
• Knowledge of industry codes like NFPA 130 and CSA
• Proven track in handling large-scale transit projects
