As part of the Energy team at WSP, your experience will help shape vital projects that address the complexities of power generation and energy modernization. You’ll work closely with a variety of clients to design mechanical systems, review specifications, and lead initiatives involving cutting-edge technologies. This role demands strong communication and mentorship abilities as you collaborate with various disciplines and guide junior engineers in their development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical systems including piping for power facilities

• Create detailed specifications and manage bids

• Review and approve vendor engineering drawings

• Interface effectively with clients and project teams

• Mentor junior engineers in technical skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 6 to 10 years engineering design experience required

• Must hold a P.Eng, Ing, or PE license

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Smart Plant 3D beneficial

• Skills in software like Thermoflow and Caesar II
