Position: Project Manager – Mechanical Engineering Role
Smith + Andersen is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee major projects from their Vancouver office. This hybrid role emphasizes leadership, project coordination, and technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in project engineering within mechanical building services, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and sound decision-making skills. You will be responsible for enhancing project delivery, conducting calculations, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to all applicable standards and regulations throughout project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review project change notices

• Coordinate shop drawing reviews with project timelines

• Support accounts receivable processes effectively

• Ensure internal and external discipline coordination

• Prepare task schedules and critical data monitoring

Requirements:

• Five years of experience in mechanical services engineering

• Licensed P.Eng. or ability to achieve within a year

• Expertise in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and similar tools

• In-depth knowledge of provincial building codes and standards

• Proven track record of leading complex projects
