Take charge of hydrotechnical engineering projects in British Columbia as a Lead Engineer with WSP. Contribute to community resilience and sustainable water practices.
The position focuses on the application of advanced hydrotechnical designs to support safe infrastructure. You will oversee project teams, enhance client relations, and develop innovative modelling approaches to fulfill critical municipal needs in water management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead hydrotechnical design and project delivery initiatives
• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for impactful projects
• Collaborate with environmental and engineering teams
• Manage water resource assessments and offer expert guidance
• Produce comprehensive reports for planning and design
Requirements:
• Degree in civil or environmental engineering, hydrology
• P.Eng. registered with EGBC or eligible soon
• 15+ years in hydrotechnical engineering consulting
• Experience with flood mitigation and drainage systems
• Familiarity with BC's regulatory landscape
