As part of Teck's team, you will work hybrid, balancing site visits and office responsibilities. Ideal candidates must be enrolled in relevant engineering disciplines and demonstrate a solid understanding of soil mechanics or tailings management. You’ll engage in crucial safety initiatives while supporting data management and coordination with consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead initiatives promoting safety and environmental standards
• Participate in health and safety programs for site staff
• Support data monitoring and management tasks
• Assist in governance adherence as per established guidelines
• Facilitate interactions among site teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Current student in Geological, Civil, or Mining Engineering
• Self-starter capable of multitasking effectively
• Excellent communication skills for sharing ideas
• Valid Canadian driver’s license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
