Integrated Control Systems Engineer at WSP

Drive innovative control system engineering solutions at WSP as an Integrated Control & Safety Systems Engineer. Focus on SCADA systems for rail and transit projects across Canada.

In this role, you will join the Rail & Transit team, providing your expertise under the supervision of the Lead ICSS & SCADA Engineer. You will partake in developing control systems that enhance transportation safety and efficiency. Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to multidisciplinary projects that impact public transit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design control and monitoring strategies for rail subsystems

• Prepare detailed control system diagrams and narratives

• Produce comprehensive technical specifications and reports

• Manage project-related BOM and BOQ documentation

• Support integration and troubleshooting during project phases

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related field of study

• Ability to obtain P.Eng. registration within one year

• Over 5 years of experience in control systems

• Strong skills in PLCs, DCS, and SCADA applications

• Knowledge of communication protocols including TCP/IP and Modbus
