Senior Piping Designer

Join Ausenco as a Senior Piping Designer in Vancouver for an innovative North American mining project. Engage with multidisciplinary teams, focusing on piping layout designs and detailed engineering.

In this role, you will leverage over seven years of experience in piping design for mineral processing plants. Your technical expertise will contribute to developing piping models and layouts, with an emphasis on slurry and reagents systems. Collaborate closely with designers, prepare piping isometrics, and facilitate project reviews to ensure design integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D piping models using Smart Plant software

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team

• Prepare detail designs for slurry and water piping systems

• Assist in project model reviews and track action items

• Create detailed piping isometric drawings

Requirements:

• 7+ years in piping design for EPC/EPCM environments

• Knowledge of ASME B16 and B31 standards

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Working knowledge of industry codes and regulations

• Proficiency in piping systems and P&IDs
