Lead Mine Engineer - FIFO Position

Shape the future of mining at Hecla Keno Hill with your expertise as a Lead Mine Engineer. This position is focused on mine planning and operational leadership within a FIFO schedule.
In this critical role, you'll lead mine engineering initiatives for Keno Hill, one of the highest-grade silver mines in the world. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for development and execution of mine plans, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental practices. Your leadership will drive effective collaboration across engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate mine engineering work with geology and operations

• Prepare month-end and year-end engineering reports

• Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness

• Mentor and develop engineering personnel

• Participate in planning meetings for operational coordination
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mine Engineering required

• 10+ years managing underground mine projects

• Proficient in mine design software and Microsoft Office

• Must register for P.Eng in Yukon Territory

• Clean Class 5 driver’s license needed
