Senior Technical Leader in Water Engineering

Become a Senior Technical Leader with WSP, focusing on complex mine water and surface water projects across Alberta and British Columbia. Lead and mentor while making a significant impact.
In this role, you will spearhead the planning, design, and execution of sophisticated water management projects. As a part of WSP’s Mine Water & Environment – West team, you will leverage your vast experience to implement innovative water management strategies. Your leadership will enhance technical standards and strengthen the team's safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mine water project completion stages

• Develop and assess water management strategies

• Deliver key hydrologic assessments and evaluations

• Oversee design of surface water infrastructure

• Mentor engineers to elevate team standards
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in related field

• P.Eng. registration is essential

• 12+ years of experience in water resources

• Expertise in multidisciplinary mine projects

• Strong skills in hydrology and hydraulics
