Senior Study Manager for Mining

Stantec seeks an experienced Senior Study Manager for its Mining team in Canada. This full-time role involves leading mining study initiatives and ensuring client satisfaction across projects.
This position is crucial in driving the planning and execution of mining studies that meet client goals. You will leverage your extensive project management experience while coordinating with technical teams and ensuring alignment in deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the capacity to develop others within a virtual, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage study scope definition and execution

• Implement risk and value management processes

• Deliver studies within agreed timelines and budgets

• Act as a technical peer reviewer for project components

• Foster client engagement and stakeholder relationships
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum of 10 years in study or project management

• Proven leadership experience in mining

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills

• Professional Engineering license preferred
