Senior Technology Systems Designer

• Established and productive individual contributor.
• Completes technology system design independently, reaching out to Subject Matter Experts (SME) for guidance, as required.
• Demonstrates some advanced skills in one discipline relating to the ICAT industry.
• Completes general construction administration tasks with minimal guidance from senior designers.
• Prepares plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates for medium-sized projects.
• Assess design constructability and makes edits to existing design specifications with support and guidance from more senior designers.
• Manages and prioritizes own project activities in order to meet project deadlines for all assigned tasks.
• Develops standards and reports with moderate support and guidance from more senior contributors.
• Effectively applies the appropriate tools and methodologies used for product and service delivery (e.g., advanced REVIT, working knowledge of AutoCAD, HHA Drawing Standards, etc.)
• Ensures technical accuracy and competency of design details of a project.
• Other duties as required.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years engineering consulting experience an asset.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
• Good accuracy and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

The expected salary for this role is between $80,000 to $101,000 annually. Base salaries are determined considering several factors such as skills and competencies, experience, education, and internal and external competitiveness. Along with your base salary we offer a wide array of programs that include our Short Term Incentive bonus program, technical and business training, mentoring, wellness initiatives, the opportunity to participate in our coveted Defined Benefit Pension plan, flexible work arrangement, and hybrid work.
