As a Senior Associate reporting to the Practice Lead, you will manage investigations on building and fire code compliance, dealing with personal injury claims and construction disputes. You are expected to develop strong client relationships, mentor junior staff, and significantly contribute to business growth and marketing efforts while demonstrating expertise in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project timelines, scopes, budgets, and invoicing
• Conduct site examinations and technical investigations
• Assess compliance with multiple building and fire codes
• Prepare technical reports based on thorough investigations
• Mentor junior team members and support their development
Requirements:
• Degree in engineering or related field
• P.Eng. or equivalent designation preferred
• 5-7 years experience in building code consulting
• Strong understanding of Canadian codes and standards
• Proven experience in project management and communication
