You will join Qualus's respected Protection & Control team, engaging with a diverse array of projects from 12 kV to 500 kV. This senior role emphasizes technical leadership, design ownership, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership in high-voltage substations
• Serve as Technical Lead on complex projects
• Develop protection planning and application documents
• Conduct protection coordination studies and relay settings
• Mentor junior engineers and improve P&C standards
Requirements:
• 8–15 years of utility-focused engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligibility in Canada
• Hands-on experience with relay software and power systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
