Become the Engineering Manager for a major copper concentrator project in Vancouver, BC. This contract role involves comprehensive project oversight and engineering management within an EPCM framework. As the Area Lead, you will direct key engineering activities and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Your responsibilities will include managing EPCM consultants and providing technical direction to ensure quality engineering standards are met. This is an chance to apply your extensive experience in mining and heavy industrial projects at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities Act as technical representative for assigned project area
Oversee review and recommendations for engineering deliverables
Coordinate with EPCM consultants and engineering teams
Develop and manage scopes of work and contracts
Support alignment of stakeholder feedback into design processes
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably specialized
10–12 years in mining or heavy industrial projects
2–3 years in an engineering supervisory role
Familiarity with project management and engineering software
Robust problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Drive engineering excellence and interaction within multidisciplinary teams in this vital mining expansion project.
