CIMA+ is searching for an experienced Civil Substation Lead Engineer to join our growing team in Vancouver. With over 12 years of experience in substation civil and structural design, you will guide a design team on high-voltage substation projects. This role emphasizes teamwork, technical expertise, and client interaction, allowing you to contribute to vital energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design team for substation civil designs up to 735 kV
• Manage design tasks and coordinate project progress
• Supervise and mentor junior engineer professionals
• Perform structural design and detailed analysis
• Prepare technical reports, plans, and specifications
Requirements:
• 12+ years of substation civil design experience
• University Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineering registration in Canada
• 3+ years in team lead or project management
• Familiarity with design software like Civil 3D
